The recipe is as follows:
Cartridges: Pink Journey, Winter Lace and Christmas Cheer
Paper: Scraps of Cardstock I had (White & Red)
Cuttlebug: Embossing folder from Retro Kitchen
Glitter: Diamond Stickles and MS iridescent fine glitter (candy apple)
Other: White Vinyl (scraps) and Craft Glass Ornament
I used my Gypsy to weld together a star shape from Pink Journey with the candy cane from Christmas Cheer making a red ornament cover. I did the shadow cut from each (also welded) for a white background then just the star shape to cover the top of the ornament cover. I used the Retro Kitchen Cuttlebug embossing folder on the ornament cover top and then inked it to make the embossing stand out. I added Diamond Stickles for a glittery look (hard to see in the pic but it is there). I filled the Craft Glass Ornament with Mop & Shine and then MS iridescent fine glitter, added seven snowflakes cut from the white vinyl and the Winter Lace cartridge, and then added Stickles to give them that snow glisten (again hard to see in the pic but they do shimmer).
I really had fun with this one and am thinking about using other cuts on this ornament topper idea like snowmen, candy or even the nutcracker on the Gingerbread cartridge. I think on the next topper I am going to use one of the snowflakes from Winter Lace too. Thanks for looking and Happy Holidays.
Later Taters,
Laney
