Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #18: Back to Basics

The hardest part of this challenge was to figure out which cartridge I would use. Well I decided to go to the Gypsy (I turn to it all the time anyway) and use Gypsy Wanderings cartridge.

Ok so here is the rules and my interpretation:

For this challenge we want you to go “Back to the Basics” . . . by using ONLY the cartridge(s) that came with your machine or Gypsy! You must use THREE cuts on your project (the complete title or words counts as one cut).

That's my only Grandson looking spiffy in his Tiger Club Uniform. I used "It Takes Two" BSA paper for the background paper and Bazzill CS for everything else. I did 4 cuts from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge; the cap, boy, and the tag on pg. 46 & the Fleur border on pg. 15. The "Clearly Yours Stickers" are from K & Company.

It was fun to pick just one cartridge and see what I could do with it. I might try it again it sure made it a lot simpler. Hope you like the LO and thanks for taking time to check it out & "Keep Scrapping Your Legacy's"!

Cricut Circle Jan. Monthly Challenge

It took me a while to get this one together but here is what I came up with for the Cricut Circle January Monthly Challenge:

The Rules were as follows:

For this month’s challenge we would like to see you scraplift one of the projects you have seen us present here on the blog. It can be anything! And feel free to add your own creative twist to the project. Project must be newly created for this challenge and should include the following elements to qualify.
  • Use 2 or more Cricut Cuts on the project.
  • Use a project you have seen on the Cricut Circle Blog as inspiration for your project.
  • Use products from atleast two of our Sponsors (click on the “Sponsors” along the top of the page to see a list of manufacturers).

Here is the sketch & project I scraplifted from. It is from October 6th WOW Wednesday:

For my background I used 2 cuts from George and and 1 from French Manor. My sponsor products are Bazzill cardstock and American Crafts Foil and cardstock Thickers. I also used some Anna Griffin Border Stickers added some bling and sticker ribbon. Thanks for taking the time to check it out and Happy Scrapping.

BTW I did notice after I published this post that I had misspelled "pretty" on my LO so I went back and corrected it. Dang I wish there was spell check when I am scrapping... lol.
